I received the B.Eng. degree in ocean engineering from the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2012, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. From April to August 2019, I was a Researcher with the Department of Ocean Operations and Civil Engineering, NTNU. From 2019 to 2021, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Centre for Research-based Innovation on Marine Operations (SFI MOVE), Department of Marine Technology, NTNU. Since 02/2022, I am an assistant professor in Institute for Ocean Engineering, Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University.
I have published 26 journal articles (including Marine Structures, Ocean Engineering, Renewable & Sus-tainable Energy Reviews, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, etc.) and 15 conference papers with a total citation number of 465 and H-index 11 (until 09/03/2022, Google Scholar). I am the first author of 10 journal publications and 6 conference papers, where 2 journal papers were ESI-highly cited in 2018 and 2 journal paper was ESI-highly cited in 2021. Moreover, I have been a reviewer of 11 international journals and 5 conferences. In 2021, I received the Distinguished Young Scholars of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Overseas). Since 2017, I have been involved in co-supervising 1 Ph.D. student and 8 Master’s students. My research focuses on automation and digitalization in marine operations, especially on marine surface vessels and offshore wind turbines (OWTs).
